CDPQ and OTPP Continue Canadian Green Push

Earlier today, Transurban announced that it would acquire the remaining 49% in WestConnex along with a group of State-Owned Investors including AustralianSuper, ADIA, CPP and CDPQ. The NSW Government expects to receive US$ 8 billion for the privatization, which will use to keep fueling NGF’s growth. So, in a way, NSW keeps benefitting from its relationship with Québec’s government, QGF and, ultimately, CDPQ.

Indonesian SWF Secures Multi-Billion Dollar Infra Deal

An agreement for a US$3.75 billion infrastructure platform marks the first investment vehicle for the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), backed by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) and APG Financial. The consortium will invest in toll roads with assessments of opportunities over the next six months.
