State-Owned Investors have still a long way to go when it comes to diversity and inclusion. Among sovereign wealth funds, on average, only 17% of the board members and 21% of the executives are female with the Middle East having the lowest level of female inclusion at the top. Public pension funds fare better with 41% of the boards and 31% of the executive bodies comprised by women on average with the highest ratios in Oceanian and Scandinavian funds.
