The Royal Group is the principal family office and holding vehicle of Abu Dhabi's ruling Al Nahyan family, established in the late 1990s from construction and real-estate roots and chaired by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and UAE National Security Advisor. It has grown into a sprawling conglomerate of more than 60 subsidiaries and roughly 27,600 employees from over 90 countries, spanning real estate, manufacturing, financial services, technology, healthcare, hospitality, retail and robotics. Its anchor asset is a controlling ~61% stake in International Holding Company (IHC), the largest company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
