Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) is a Riyadh-based, Tadawul-listed investment holding company founded in 1980 by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, who chairs the firm and remains its controlling shareholder. In 2022, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) acquired a 16.87% stake for roughly $1.5 billion, giving the state a direct interest and reinforcing KHC's alignment with Vision 2030. Managing around $14 billion in assets, KHC invests globally across financial services, hospitality, real estate, technology, media and local equities. Its portfolio spans marquee names such as Four Seasons, Hotel George V, Citigroup, Rotana, X/xAI and, most recently, Saudi football club Al-Hilal.
