The Private Department of H.E. Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalid Al Nahyan ("PD," operating under the Khalidia brand) is a private family office wholly owned by members of Abu Dhabi's ruling family. It was established in the early 1960s by the late Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his son, the late Sheikh Mohamed, to manage the family's landholdings in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It has since grown into one of the Emirate's largest diversified, recurring-income real estate portfolios — over 2,500 residential units, ~60,000 sqm of commercial space and two five-star hotels — and in 2026 began expanding into energy, infrastructure and financial services.
