International Holding Company (IHC) is an Abu Dhabi-listed investment holding company and, by market capitalization, one of the largest conglomerates in the Gulf. Founded in 1998 as fish-farming operator Asmak, it was repurposed between 2018 and 2020 as the principal listed vehicle for the assets of Royal Group, the private conglomerate chaired by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's National Security Advisor. Successive contributions of Royal Group companies drove an extraordinary re-rating, making IHC the UAE's most valuable listed company. It now manages a diversified portfolio spanning financial services, real estate, industrials, healthcare, utilities, technology and asset management, both domestically and abroad.
