The Fatik bin Faher Group (FBF) is an Omani conglomerate founded in 1974, when Oman Trading Industrial and Engineering Organisation (OTIEO) was established to supply food products to the Ministry of Defence. Owned and chaired by His Highness Sayyid Fatik bin Faher bin Taimur Al Said — a member of Oman's ruling Al Said dynasty and nephew of the late Sultan Said bin Taimur — the Muscat-based group has since diversified across defence supplies, telecommunications, security and firefighting systems, automotive, insurance, furnishings, travel and tourism, hospitality, and general trading. It manages an estimated USD 3 billion through roughly seventeen wholly-owned operating companies.
