Al Fajer Group (also known as Al Fajer Enterprises) is a Dubai-based, wholly Emirati-owned family holding company founded in 1970 by the late Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum, a member of Dubai's ruling family. Structured as a diversified conglomerate rather than a financial investor, it operates through wholly-owned operating subsidiaries spanning construction and contracting, general trading, marine services, real estate, facilities management, information and publishing services, travel and tourism, and electricals. Its flagship company, Al Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading, was established the same year and has delivered landmark UAE projects. The group employs a large workforce across its umbrella companies, with estimated assets of around USD 2 billion.
