DHI (Bhutan)

Druk Holding & Investment (DHI) is the commercial and investment arm of the Royal Government of Bhutan. The fund came to the spotlight in 2023 after some high-profile investments in crypto assets and exchanges, which did not seem to necessarily align with its mandate. DHI was established in 2007 under the Ministry of Finance to hold and manage stakes in some of the country’s largest companies. Today it manages 22 stakes in domestic assets as well as a small portfolio of overseas investments, all valued at US$ 3.2 billion.
