Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC, founded in 2013 to optimize the management of development institutions and financial organizations, has become a key institution of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Comprised of 9 subsidiaries, the Holding is involved in the development of the non-resource-based sectors of the economy, promoting entrepreneurship, urbanizing the economy, increasing exports, and creating a culture of innovation. In October 2021, in line with the Comprehensive Privatization Plan for 2021-2025, the Holding sold its stake in the Investment Fund of Kazakhstan to private investors.
